Mom, Lyla, and Tracy watched the firewoks with the masses from the banks of the Daugava River.
The fireworks were set off from the middle of the river.

Austin, Norm, Lynda, Graeme, Lenore and I watched from our hotel.  Dad watched them on
TV in his room.

The celebrations went on all night but we didn't.  Lynda and Lenore jogged the next morning
through the park.  Several revelers still partying from the night before tried to run along.
